Malvern Road, Upper Arlington

<< Back

This beautifully remodeled kitchen was accomplished by creatively redesigning the existing kitchen space in a 1950's Upper Arlington home. Here is a transformation of a dark, cramped, inefficient kitchen space into a modern, open plan with an abundance of natural light and many of today's popular features.

In the design phase, decisions were made to remove an interior wall and move the location of the rear entry door, which created tremendous visual impact. This kitchen features many popular materials available today, such as: Shaker style maple cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, and a large skylight over the island, plus a large window looking into the rear yard. The result incorporated all of the needs of the homes' growing family. Dramatic changes can be achieved in a kitchen with good design technique.
